Host announced as Finalists in the NSHS 2019

It’s the time of year that everyone at Host has been eagerly awaiting. But the wait is finally over. The National Student Housing Survey results are in, and we couldn’t be happier!

We’ve been nominated as a finalist across four award categories in this year’s survey. The awards we have been shortlisted for are:

  • Best Private Halls Provider
  • Best Value for Money
  • The Best Student Broadband
  • Best Learning Environment (The Old Dairy, Plymouth)

Following on from last year’s success, where we were crowned winners of the Best Private Halls Provider award, we are thrilled to have been shortlisted once again for four of these amazing awards.

This recognition is a direct result of student feedback. Therefore, we would like to say a big thank you to all of our students for taking the time to complete the NSHS and for sharing their feedback.

Our staff work tirelessly to provide the best possible experience for our students and being a finalist reaffirms that Host continues to be held in high regard by students across the country.

The overall winner for each award category will be announced during an online awards webinar on 10th September 2019. We wish all of those shortlisted the best of luck and we can’t wait to find out the results.

The National Student Housing Survey (NSHS) is an annual survey of students in higher education across the UK. The survey, running since 2007, measures satisfaction levels in all types of accommodation. It allows participating institutions to measure their performance against national and regional benchmarks. The 2019 survey received over 33,000 responses from students from universities and colleges across the UK.
