2. The rooms:
We have several room types available for you to live in at Fontessa House. Choose from one of our en-suite bedrooms arranged in a shared flat where you’ll share a kitchen and lounge area with others from the flat. Or, for that extra privacy, opt for a studio room with en-suite bathroom and a private kitchen area.
Besides from a comfortable bed to get a good night’s sleep in, no matter which room type you choose, you’ll benefit from a variety of storage spaces including a spacious wardrobe, drawers and under bed storage. When you need to focus your attention on work, each room comes with its own large study desk and chair.

3. The facilities
If you’re catching up with your flat mates or looking to get to know other residents, then you can socialise and relax in the common room. There’s also a large TV for you to watch the latest hit programmes. Throughout the year, our team will also put on social events for all residents; from Halloween to Christmas, and everything in between.
When your wardrobes and drawers are empty, but your wash basket is full, it’s probably time to do some washing. Thankfully, you’ll find a laundry room on-site. Here you’ll find both washing and drying facilities so you’ll never be short of a clean outfit.
If you’ve got a bicycle while at university, we have plenty of spaces available for you to keep it locked up and secure. And for your own safety, we have staff on-site and 24/7 CCTV.
4. All-inclusive living
You’re busy sorting everything out before you move to the UK, and let’s be honest, the last thing you’ll want to do when you arrive is sort out more things, set up accounts and remember to pay the water bill or take an electricity meter reading every month.
That’s why as a resident at Fontessa House, we take care of the bills so you don’t have to. You won’t need to worry about any of your utility bills; the price of your rent includes all of these bills.
You even get access to a 100Mb broadband internet connection in your room and Wi-Fi throughout the building included so you can stay connected with the rest of the world at no extra cost.
5. Flexibility
Unlike applying for some accommodation, there’s no deadline for applying for a room at our accommodation. Even if you’re waiting for visas to be approved or exam results to come through, providing we still have rooms available, you’ll be able to secure a room with us at Fontessa House for September.
We also offer a number of payment options for students. You can either pay in full for the year upon booking, or you can opt for our instalment plan which is available if you have a UK guarantor.
As an international student, you may not have a UK guarantor and therefore you may opt to may via a monthly payment plan through a guarantor service such as UK guarantor or Housing Hand.
