Four things to do in Nottingham on a four day Bank Holiday Weekend

Easter bank holiday, the first of two, yes two! Four day weekends this year and if you’re living with us at our two Nottingham locations, we’ve come up with four things to help get away from the dreaded revision this bank holiday.

The Lost City Adventure Golf Nottingham

1. The Lost City Adventure Golf

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a friendly game of mini golf? And Lost City Adventure Golf has two incredible courses on offer, so gather your friends and challenge them to a game. They also have a funky tiki bar overlooking the courses, serving freshly made pizza and cocktails. Are you really losing when you have pizza in one hand and a drink in the other?

The Haunted Museum and Oddities

2. The Haunted Museum and Oddities

If you love to be spooked and are into the paranormal, this museum is the place for you. It’s a basement filled to the brim with creepy dolls, toys and oddities from all around the world and is one of the top 30 most haunted location in the UK! They even hold paranormal investigations at night… are you brave enough?

It’s right by the railway station so easily accessible from both Lace Market Studios and The Rise.

Stonebridge City Farm - Nottingham

3. Nottingham’s City Farm

Located in the heart of Nottingham is the Stonebridge City Farm. Full of adorable animals from, cows and goats to meerkats and rabbits. You can spend the day feeding and petting the animals as well as walking around their gorgeous gardens.

You’ll find the city farm a few minutes’ walk from Victoria Park and the city centre.

Castle Wharf Canalside

4. Castle Wharf Canalside

There is nothing quite like dinner with a view. The Castle Wharf is a lovely setting with restaurants and bars right by the water. Take a stroll or cycle along the Canalside and watch the boats go by, a perfect way to end a bank holiday weekend.
