It’s our birthday! Host turns one year old this weekend, and we can’t believe a whole year has passed since we launched the Host brand on 1st October 2016.
As our name and strapline suggest, we’re all about providing students with a place to live that they can feel at home in. And our comfortable, stylish and safe student accommodation, combined with a fun, friendly and welcoming environment, does just that.

Is there a better way to celebrate moving in and starting uni than with a party? No. So, that’s exactly what we’ve done; we’ve thrown lots of welcome parties!
With lots of seasonal events throughout the year, it’s a great excuse to dig out the fancy dress outfits, deck the halls and eat lots!
Being a student isn’t just about lectures, assignments and revision. It’s a great time to have fun, relax and meet new people. And our social spaces provide just the space for that…
When lectures start and exams come around, the days can be long. That’s why were on hand to provide you with some goodies to keep you going throughout the day.
Our teams have set up shop around the UK at various universities, freshers fairs and open days to spread the word and let students know about Host.

To become more ‘environmentally friendly’, Host is launching the #HostEnvironmentalPledge campaign to encourage responsible behaviour and drive sustainability across our sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
It’s a simple campaign! For every percent we reduce our overall utilities (electric, water and gas) consumption by we donate to one of our nominated charities.
