In accordance with Host’s membership and adherence to ANUK National Codes of Standards for student accommodation, by which we commit to maintaining professional benchmark standards for managing large student developments, we wish to inform you that a programme of work to replace the exterior cladding of the building, in line with building regulations and government guidance for high-rise buildings, is in progress and due to complete at the end of November/beginning of December.

Due to these works, we advise that rooms with balconies will not be accessible until the exterior building works are completed and scaffolding removed.

Internal works to upgrade fire precautions are also in progress and being undertaken in a phased manner; this involves students having to be temporarily relocated to an alternative room whilst works are in progress on their floor. These are due to complete in early 2024.
