Book a room at either Central Quay in Sheffield today, but if you don’t get your Visa approved for studying in the UK, and no longer require the room, you won’t pay a penny.
Terms and Conditions:
- This offer is open to prospective first year international students applying for higher education in the UK for the 2021/22 academic year.
- If an applicant does not get their Visa approved to be able to study in the UK, they need to provide evidence that their Visa application has been rejected to your chosen Host accommodation within 48 hours of rejection.
- Evidence must be emailed to centralquay@host-students.com.
- On production of sufficient evidence of the Visa rejection, within 48 hours of receiving it, the applicants booking will be cancelled in full, with a full refund of the initial rent payment.

2. Restricted Travel Promotion:
If you’re unable to travel to the UK due to Government travel restrictions, and no longer require your room, you won’t be charged a penny.

1. Secure your Room for £100 Promotion:
We’ve cut the price of our initial payment meaning you can now secure your room for just £100 on booking at Host. Visit your chosen room type’s pricing page for more information on payment amounts and dates. All room types for Central Quay can be found here.
2. Revised Payment Plans Promotion:
If you book with Host and if you choose to pay by instalments, the 2nd payment may be split into two; 50% to be paid on the original due date of the 2nd payment and the remaining 50% to be paid within 7 days of the tenancy start date.
3. No Place No Pay Promotion:
Book a room at Central Quay today, but if you don’t obtain the grades you need for university and no longer require the room, you won’t pay a penny.
Terms and Conditions:
- If an applicant does not get a place on the course they applied for they need to provide evidence from the educational establishment within 48 hours of their results being published.
- Evidence must be emailed to the site email address, centralquay@host-students.com.
- Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the establishment or UCAS confirmation of rejection.
- Documents must be received by the site team within 48hrs from the date your results are published or by 1st September 2021 (which ever date is the sooner).
- On receipt of the required documentation it will be verified and, provided Host are satisfied, we will cancel your agreement and refund your rent advance in full.

5. Restricted Travel Promotion:
If you’re unable to travel to the UK due to Government travel restrictions, and no longer require your room, you can defer your booking until you are able to travel or cancel and receive a full refund.
Guarantee:
Our Guarantee to all International Students Covid-19 (Coronavirus). Booking Information for 2021/22. We fully understand that there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 at the moment and possible consequent travel restrictions. If you book a room at Host for September 2021 today, but are then disallowed from travelling to the UK due to the relevant Government travel restrictions and are therefore unable to take up your tenancy on or in the 7 days prior to the tenancy start date, exclusively as a result of Covid-19 and therefore no longer require the room, you will be offered the chance to defer the booking until such time as you can travel to the UK or be released from your booking – see below Terms & Conditions.
Terms and Conditions:
- This guarantee is open to all international students applying for higher education in the UK for the 2021/22 academic year.
- If an applicant is disallowed from travelling to the UK exclusively as a result of Covid-19, they need to provide evidence from either the UK Government or from the Government where you live confirming this advice (in English). This must be provided to Host no later than 7 days before the tenancy start date.
- On production of the relevant Government confirmation (in English), the applicants booking will be deferred or cancelled in full, with a full refund of any 2021/22 rental payments made.
- All applicants wishing to take up this option need to contact the accommodation where they placed their booking directly in order to activate this Guarantee.
- Any applicants who do not provide evidence by the dates outlined above, will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.
- Email confirmation will be sent to all students that are accepted onto this guarantee once they have paid advance rent and confirmed their guarantor details where applicable.
- Please note in the case of dual occupancy both parties must be eligible for this guarantee in order for it to apply.

6. Free Quarantine Period Promotion:
If you travel to the UK and are required to quarantine on arrival due to Government legislation, Host Central Quay will provide free accommodation for the quarantine period of up to 10 days immediately prior to the start of your tenancy, subject to availability.

7. Free Car Parking Promotion:
Students booking a room at Central Quay for 2021/22 will receive free on-site car parking.
Terms and Conditions:
- This offer is only available to students booking a room at Central Quay for the 2021/22 academic year.
- The car park will only be available for the tenant to use during the duration of their tenancy (44 or 51 weeks) and not before or after this period.
- The car park is to be used only by the tenant who resides at Central Quay.
- Tenants who are eligible and wish to take advantage of the free car parking must provide Central Quay with details of their vehicle including the vehicle registration number and must sign a car parking agreement.
- Tenants who take advantage of the free car parking will be issued with a parking permit which must be displayed on the dashboard of their car at all times when parking on site.
- Tenants who wish to use the car park will be issued with a fob to gain access to the car park.
- The car park fob must be returned to the reception staff at Central Quay at the end of the tenancy.
- Tenants who do not return the fob at the end of the tenancy will be charged for a replacement fob.
- It is the responsibility of the tenant to look after the car park fob during their tenancy. If any fobs are lost or damaged, the tenant will be responsible for the cost of any replacement fobs.
- Tenants must inform the reception if their car details change so that a new parking permit can be issued.
- Limited availability for car parking spaces.

8. £200 Cashback Promotion:
Book a room at Central Quay for 2021/22 today and earn yourself £200 Cashback.
Terms and Conditions:
- Students who book a room for the 2021/22 academic year will be eligible to receive £200 Cashback.
- Only students who sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract for the 2021 academic year in Central Quay, Sheffield are eligible for the Cashback.
- Within 28 days of arrival at Central Quay, Sheffield, eligible students who have either paid in full or paid the required 2nd instalment payment will receive the Cashback will be paid by Host Student Housing Management (UK) Ltd directly to the student regardless of who has paid the student’s residence fees.

9. Refer a Friend – £100 Amazon Voucher Promotion:
Refer a friend to live with us and both you and your friend will receive a £100 Amazon voucher.
The student making the referral must:
- Provide the name and contact detail(s) of the student they are referring to staff at Central Quay before the referred student makes contact with the property.
- Be a current resident or have booked to live for the 21/22 academic year at Central Quay accommodation.
The referred student must:
- Not be a current or previous tenant at Central Quay.
- Not have previously submitted their details to Central Quay to indicate their interest.
- Not have been referred by another party.
To validate the claim the referred student must:
- Have paid their rent in full or the first instalment after move in.
- Have complied with the booking, the terms of the booking and tenancy agreement.
- Be eligible to live at Central Quay.
Both the student making the referral and the referred friend will each receive a £100 Amazon voucher upon validation of the claim.
Please note:
- There is no limit to how many refer a friend Amazon vouchers that one person can receive.

Book a room at Central Quay for 2021/22 today and you will receive a free £100 Laundry Card.
Terms and Conditions:
- Only students who book and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2021/22 academic year are eligible for the free Laundry Card.
- Providing you have paid the advanced rent payment, the tenant will receive the Laundry Card within 7 days of moving into Central Quay for the start of the 2021/22 academic year.
- The Laundry Card will be paid by Host Student Housing Management (UK) Ltd directly to the Student regardless of who has paid the Student’s residence fees.
- The Laundry Card that the student will receive will be credited with £100.
- In the event that any tenant cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
- The Laundry Card will only be given to the Student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the Student finds another student to replace them in accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the advanced rent payment is received, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the Laundry Card.
- Any lost, stolen or damaged Laundry Cards will not be replaced by Central Quay.
- In the case of dual occupancy only one voucher will be given per booking.

Terms and Conditions:
- Only students who sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2021/22 academic year are eligible for the Blackwell’s voucher.

- Within 7 days of arrival at Central Quay, and you have paid in full or the installment and monthly payments are up to date, the tenant will receive the Blackwell’s voucher.
- The Blackwell’s voucher will be paid by Host Student Housing Management (UK) Ltd directly to the Student regardless of who has paid the Student’s residence fees.
- The Blackwell’s voucher that the student will receive will be to the value of £100.00. The voucher is not exchangeable for cash.

12. Book with Confidence Promotion:
Book a room at Central Quay, Sheffield, for the 2021/22 academic year before 31st May 2021 and you can cancel your booking before that date without penalty.
Terms and Conditions:
- This promotion is made in addition to Host’s standard cancellation policy as set out on the website.
- This promotion only applies to tenancies for the 2021/22 academic year and only at Central Quay, Sheffield.
- This promotion shall apply to tenancies of both 44 and 51 weeks only.
- This promotion only applies to all bookings made directly with Host or via their international agents.
- In order to be eligible for this promotion you must book a room with Host (in accordance with these terms) prior to 31st May 2021 and any application to cancel must be received by no later than the end of 31st May 2021.
- After this date the standard cancellation terms apply.
- To cancel your booking, you are required to email the relevant Host site where your booking is held, in this case Central Quay, no later than the 31st May 2021.
- In line with all bookings an advance rent payment may be payable at time of booking. In such situations the advance rent payment will be refunded on confirmation of cancellation.
- Prior to receiving this offer, all existing rents, that are due (be they monthly or termly, or in full) must be paid.

13. Free Summer Storage Promotion (Rebookers):
Students rebooking a room at Central Quay for 2021/22 can store their belongings on-site at Central Quay for free over the summer period.
Terms and Conditions:
- This offer is only applicable to students who are currently living at Central Quay on a 44-week or 51-week contract for the 2020/21 academic year.
- Only students who rebook and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2021/22 academic year are eligible for the free summer storage. The 21/22 booking must be complete before the end of your current tenancy.
- The ‘summer period’ will run from when the student’s current 44-week contract ends on 23/07/2021, and the new contract starts on 18th September 2021.
- The free summer storage is for belongings of the student living at Central Quay. Students eligible for the free summer storage cannot store belongings on behalf of another person at Central Quay.
- Students cannot occupy the room over the Summer storage period and must hand over all keys at the end of this current tenancy. Access can be given in an emergency and at the discretion of the Host management.
- In the event that the student cancels their booking for 2021/22 or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the new 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to receive the free summer storage shall cease. All items must be removed within 48 hours otherwise they will be donated to our chosen charity. Please see our cancellation policy for further information.
- The free summer storage will only be given to the student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to replace them in accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the advanced rent payment is received, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the free summer storage.
- All items must be placed in boxes, sealed and correctly labelled. Please speak to the management team who will print off the correct labels.
- Host are not responsible for items left in storage over the Summer period.

14. Free Stay for a Week Promotion (Rebookers):
Students rebooking a room at Central Quay for 2021/22 can stay for free during the week that joins the two tenancies together.
Terms and Conditions:
- This offer is only applicable to students who are currently living at Central Quay on a 51-week contract for the 2020/21 academic year.
- Only students who rebook and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2021/22 academic year are eligible for the free stay for a week.
- Providing you have paid the advanced rent payment, the student will be able to stay for free during the week that joins up the two tenancies.
- The ‘free week’ will run from when the student’s current 51-week contract ends on 10th September 2021, and the new contract starts on 18th September 2021.
- The free stay for a week is for the student living at Central Quay only. Students eligible for the free stay cannot let someone else stay at Central Quay for the week in their place.
- In the event that the student cancels their booking for 2021/22 or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the new 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to receive the free stay shall cease.
- The free stay will only be given to the student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to replace them in accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the advanced rent payment is received, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the free stay.
- If you are staying in the same room there will be no need to move, however if you are moving to a different room you will be required to move before your 2021/2022 start date; details to be confirmed closer to the time.

16. Lowest Price Guarantee Promotion (Rebookers):
Rebook your room with us today and if our prices drop to less than what you’ve booked your room for, we’ll honour the lowest price. We guarantee you won’t pay more than anyone else.
Terms and Conditions:
- Students who rebook to live at Central Quay will be eligible for the lowest price guarantee promotion.
- Only rebooking tenants of Central Quay who sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract for the 2021/22 academic year and pay the £100 advanced rent payment are eligible for the promotion.
- This offer will only be given to rebooking students who book a room directly with Host, and not to those who book through 3rd parties.
- Once the booking is complete, if the price drops to be lower than the amount booked by a rebooker, the lowest price will be honoured, and the student will be moved to the lowest priced tenancy.
- The lowest price guarantee promotion is only applicable if the price of the booked room type is lowered. If the price of another room type is lowered the offer does not apply and it will not be possible to switch bookings to a different room type.
