3. No Place No Pay Promotion:

Book a room at Central Quay in Sheffield today, but if you don’t get the grades you need for university and no longer require the room, you won’t pay a penny.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This offer is open to prospective students applying for higher education in Sheffield for the 2020/21 academic year.
  • If an applicant does not get a place on the course, they applied for they need to provide evidence from the educational establishment to Host within 48 hours of their results being published.
  • Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the establishment or UCAS confirmation of rejection. Evidence must be emailed to centralquay@host-students.com
  • Documents must be received by Host Central Quay Sheffield within 48hrs from the date your results are published or by 1st September (which ever date is the sooner).
  • On receipt of the required documentation it will be verified and, provided Host Central Quay Sheffield are satisfied, we will cancel your agreement and refund your rent advance in full.
  • Any applicants who do not provide evidence by the timings outlined above will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.
  • Offer valid from 30th April 2020 only.

4. No Visa No Pay Promotion:

Book a room at Cental Quay in Sheffield today, but if you don’t get your Visa approved for studying in the UK, and no longer require the room, you won’t pay a penny.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This offer is open to prospective first year international students applying for higher education in the UK for the 2020/21 academic year.
  • If an applicant does not get their Visa approved to be able to study in the UK, they need to provide evidence that their Visa application has been rejected to your chosen Host accommodation within 48 hours of rejection; this must be no later than 7th September 2020.
  • Evidence must be emailed to centralquay@host-students.com.
  • On production of sufficient evidence of the Visa rejection, within 48 hours of receiving it, the applicants booking will be cancelled in full, with a full refund of the initial rent payment.
  • Any applicants who do not provide sufficient evidence by the dates outlined above, will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.

6.  Free Car Parking Promotion:

Students booking a room at Central Quay for 2020/21 will receive free on-site car parking.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This offer is only available to students booking a room at Central Quay for the 2020/21 academic year.
  • The car park will only be available for the tenant to use during the duration of their tenancy (44 or 51 weeks) and not before or after this period.
  • The car park is to be used only by the tenant who resides at Central Quay.
  • Tenants who are eligible and wish to take advantage of the free car parking must provide Central Quay with details of their vehicle including the vehicle registration number.
  • Tenants who wish to use the car park will be issued with a fob to gain access to the car park.
  • The car park fob must be returned to the reception staff at Central Quay at the end of the tenancy.
  • Tenants who do not return the fob at the end of the tenancy will be charged for a replacement fob.
  • It is the responsibility of the tenant to look after the car park fob during their tenancy. If any fobs are lost or damaged, the tenant will be responsible for the cost of any replacement fobs.
  • Limited availability for car parking spaces.

7.  Free £50 Amazon Voucher Promotion:

For the next 20 new bookings who book a room at Central Quay in Sheffield will receive a free £50 Amazon voucher.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Only students who book a room and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2020/21 academic year are eligible for the free £50 Amazon voucher.
  • There are 20 vouchers available, these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
  • This offer is only applicable to bookings made at Central Quay on or after 11th May 2020. Bookings made before this date will not be eligible for this offer.
  • Providing that the account is not in arrears, the tenant will receive the £50 Amazon voucher within 7 days of moving into Central Quay for the start of the 2020/21 academic year.
  • The Amazon voucher will be paid by Host Student Housing Management Ltd directly to the Student regardless of who has paid the Student’s residence fees.
  • The Amazon voucher that the student will receive will be to the value of £50. This is non-exchangeable for cash.
  • This offer will only be given to students who book a room directly with Host, and not to those who book through 3rd parties.
  • In the event that any tenant cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
  • The Amazon voucher will only be given to the Student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the Student finds another student to replace them in accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the advanced rent payment is received, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the Amazon voucher.
  • In the case of dual occupancy only one voucher will be given per booking.

8.  £100 Cashback Promotion:

Book a room at Central Quay for 2020/21 today and earn yourself £100 Cashback.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Students who book a room after 4th June 2020, and whilst the Cashback offer is running for the academic year 2020/21 will be eligible.
  • Only students who sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract for the 2020 academic year in Central Quay, Sheffield are eligible for the Cashback.
  • Within 28 days of arrival at Central Quay, Sheffield, eligible students who have either paid in full or paid the required 2nd instalment payment will receive the The Cashback will be paid by Host Student Housing Management (UK) Ltd directly to the student regardless of who has paid the student’s residence fees.
  • In the event that any student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
  • The Cashback will only be given to the student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to replace them and take over their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the first instalment payment date, neither the replaced student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the Cashback discount.
  • Cashback is not applicable in conjunction with any other offer unless explicitly stated.
  • Cashback is issued on a per property basis and is not transferable across properties within the Capitol Students portfolio, advertised on the Host website.
  • This Cashback offer excludes any bookings made with Host before 4th June 2020.

9.  Free £200 Tesco Voucher – Group Bookings Promotion (Offer Ended):

Terms and Conditions:

  • Students who book a room in the same flat, as part of a group, will receive a £200 Tesco voucher to be shared amongst all students in the group.
  • The minimum number of students in the ‘group’ who must make a booking to qualify for this offer is five.
  • This offer is only valid for students booking a Classic En-suite or Premium En-suite room for the 2020/21 academic year.
  • In the event that any tenant in the group cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then the group’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
  • The voucher will only be given to students who book a room directly with Central Quay, and not to those who book through 3rd
  • Within 7 days of arrival at Central Quay, Sheffield and providing all tenants in the group have either paid in full or are up to date with instalments or monthly payments, the group will receive the voucher for their flat.

10.  Free TV – Group Bookings Promotion (Offer Ended):

Receive a free 40” TV for your flat when you make a group booking with 3 or more of your friends at Central Quay for 2020/21.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Students who book a room in the same flat as part of a group will receive a free 40” TV for the flat.
  • The minimum number of students in the ‘group’ who must make a booking to qualify for this offer is four.
  • This offer is open to the first 5 qualifying group bookings or until 1st Feb 2020, whichever comes first.
  • This offer is only valid for students booking a Classic En-suite or Premium En-suite room for the 2020/21 academic year.
  • In the event that any tenant in the group cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then the group’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
  • The free TV will only be given to students who book a room directly with Central Quay, and not to those who book through 3rd parties.
  • Within 7 days of arrival at Central Quay, Sheffield, and providing all tenants in the group have either paid in full or are up to date with instalments or monthly payments, the group will receive the free TV for their flat.
  • The TV will be brand-new and will come with standard manufacturer’s warranty and guarantee.
  • It is the responsibility of the tenants in the group to look after the TV and Central Quay is not responsible for any damages or faults with the TV.
  • The tenants will be responsible for acquiring and paying the TV license. Central Quay does not provide a TV license for the TV.
  • At the end of the tenancy, the group will own the TV. It is down to the tenants in the group to decide who will take ownership of the TV upon moving out at the end of the tenancy.

Free Laundry

11.  Free Laundry for the Year Promotion (Rebookers):

Current students living at Central Quay, who rebook a room with us for 2020/21 will receive a free Laundry Card to cover the cost of a single wash and dry every week for the duration of their new tenancy.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This offer is only applicable to students who are currently living at Central Quay on a 44 or 51-week contract for the 2019/20 academic year.
  • Only students who rebook and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2020/21 academic year are eligible for the free Laundry Card.
  • Providing you have paid the advanced rent payment, the tenant will receive the Laundry Card within 7 days of moving into Central Quay for the start of the 2020/21 academic year.
  • The Laundry Card will be paid by Host Student Housing Management Ltd directly to the Student regardless of who has paid the Student’s residence fees.
  • The Laundry Card that the student will receive will be to the equivalent value of one wash and one dry per week for the duration of the tenancy (44 or 51 weeks). This is non-exchangeable for cash.
  • In the event that any tenant cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
  • The Laundry Card will only be given to the Student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the Student finds another student to replace them in accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the advanced rent payment is received, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the Laundry Card.
  • Any lost, stolen or damaged Laundry Cards will not be replaced by Central Quay.
  • In the case of dual occupancy only one voucher will be given per booking.

free summer storage central quay

12.  Free Summer Storage Promotion (Rebookers):

Students rebooking a room at Central Quay for 2020/21 can store their belongings on-site at Central Quay for free over the summer period.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This offer is only applicable to students who are currently living at Central Quay on a 44-week or 51-week contract for the 2019/20 academic year.
  • Only students who rebook and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2020/21 academic year are eligible for the free summer storage. The 20/21 booking must be complete before the end of your current tenancy.
  • The ‘summer period’ will run from when the student’s current 44-week contract ends on 24/07/2020, and the new contract starts on 19th September 2020
  • The free summer storage is for belongings of the student living at Central Quay. Students eligible for the free summer storage cannot store belongings on behalf of another person at Central Quay.
  • Students cannot occupy the room over the Summer storage period and must hand over all keys at the end of this current tenancy. Access can be given in an emergency and at the discretion of the Host management.
  • In the event that the student cancels their booking for 2020/21 or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the new 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to receive the free summer storage shall cease. All items must be removed within 48 hours otherwise they will be donated to our chosen charity. Please see our cancellation policy for further information.
  • The free summer storage will only be given to the student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to replace them in accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the advanced rent payment is received, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the free summer storage.
  • All items must be placed in boxes, sealed and correctly labelled. Please speak to the management team who will print off the correct label’s
  • Host are not responsible for items left in storage over the Summer period.

13.  Free Stay for a Week Promotion (Rebookers):

Students rebooking a room at Central Quay for 2020/21 can stay for free during the week that joins the two tenancies together.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This offer is only applicable to students who are currently living at Central Quay on a 51-week contract for the 2019/20 academic year.
  • Only students who rebook and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2020/21 academic year are eligible for the free stay for a week.
  • Providing you have paid the advanced rent payment, the student will be able to stay for free during the week that joins up the two tenancies.
  • The ‘free week’ will run from when the student’s current 51-week contract ends on 11th September 2020, and the new contract starts on 19th September 2020.
  • The free stay for a week is for the student living at Central Quay only. Students eligible for the free stay cannot let someone else stay at Central Quay for the week in their place.
  • In the event that the student cancels their booking for 2020/21 or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the new 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to receive the free stay shall cease.
  • The free stay will only be given to the student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to replace them in accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the advanced rent payment is received, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the free stay.
  • If you are staying in the same room there will be no need to move, however if you are moving to a different room you will be required to move before your 2020/2021 start date, details to be confirmed closer to the time.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Only students who book a room and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2020/21 academic year are eligible for the free £100 Amazon voucher.
  • Only students who book a room between 25th November 2019 and 1st December 2019 will be eligible to receive the free £100 Amazon voucher.
  • Providing you have paid the advanced rent payment, the tenant will receive the £100 Amazon voucher within 7 days of moving into Central Quay for the start of the 2020/21 academic year.
