1. Free unirider Tram Pass Promotion:  

Book a room at Central Quay on a 44 or 51-week contract and receive a free Supertram annual Unirider for use around the city of Sheffield.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Students who book an En-suite or Studio room at Central Quay, within the dates specified below, will be eligible for the Supertram annual Unirider
  • Please check the Stagecoach website for Terms and Conditions for the ticket: https://www.stagecoachbus.com/regionaltickets/yorkshire/sheffield/unirider
  • The value of the offer is £319.00 and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Only students at Central Quay, Sheffield who sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract for the 2019/20 academic year are eligible for the Supertram annual Unirider Pass.
  • This offer is only valid for those booking a 44- or 51-week contract from 09/07/2019 until this offer ends.
  • Within 7 days of arrival at Central Quay, and providing you have no outstanding arrears on your account, you will receive the Supertram annual Unirider
  • In the event that any tenant cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
  • The Supertram annual Unirider Pass will only be given to the Student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the Student finds another student to replace them in the accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the first instalment payment date, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the Supertram annual Unirider Pass.
  • If you terminate your tenancy at Central Quay earlier than the end of the agreed term, then your entitlement to the Supertram annual Unirider Pass will cease and you will need to hand back the Supertram annual Unirider Pass to Central Quay.
  • Central Quay will need to share your name with Stagecoach for the Supertram annual Unirider Pass to be produced.
  • If you lose the Supertram annual Unirider Pass, there will be a charge for a replacement pass at the discretion of Stagecoach.

2. £400 Cashback Promotion (offer ended):

Book a room at Central Quay for the 2019/20 academic year and you’ll receive £400 cashback.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Students who book a room after 10th June 2019, and whilst the Cashback offer is running for the academic year 2019/20 will be eligible.
  • Only students who sign up to a legally-binding 44, 45 or 51-week contract for the 2019 academic year in Central Quay, Sheffield; Londonderry House, Birmingham; Saw Mill, Snow Island and Firth Point, Huddersfield are eligible for the Cashback.
  • Cashback will only be given to students who book a room directly with Central Quay, Sheffield; Londonderry House, Birmingham; Saw Mill, Snow Island and Firth Point, Huddersfield, and not to those who book through 3rd parties.
  • Within 28 days of arrival at Central Quay, Sheffield; Londonderry House, Birmingham; Saw Mill, Snow Island and Firth Point, Huddersfield, eligible students who have either paid in full or paid the required 2nd instalment payment will receive the The Cashback will be paid by Victoria Hall Management Ltd directly to the student regardless of who has paid the student’s residence fees.
  • In the event that any student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44, 45 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
  • The Cashback will only be given to the student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to replace them and take over their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the first instalment payment date, neither the replaced student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the Cashback discount.

3. No Place No Pay Promotion:

Book a room at Central Quay today, but if you don’t get the grades you need for university and no longer require the room, you won’t pay a penny.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This offer is open to prospective first year students applying for higher education in Sheffield for the 2019/20 academic year.
  • If an applicant does not get a place on the course they applied for they need to provide evidence from the educational establishment to Central Quay within 48 hours of their results being published, this must be no later than 7th September 2019.
  • Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the establishment or UCAS confirmation of rejection. Evidence must be emailed to centralquay@host-students.com.
  • On production of a copy of the rejection letter, within 48 hours of the results being published, the applicants booking will be cancelled in full, with a full refund of the £250 rent advance.
  • Any applicants who do not provide evidence by the dates outlined above, will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.

4. Refer a Friend Promotion:  

Refer a friend to book a room with us at Central Quay for 2019/20 and receive a £50 Amazon voucher.

The student making the referral must:

  • Provide the name and contact detail(s) of the student they are referring to the Hall Manager at Central Quay before the referred student makes contact with Central Quay
  • Be a current resident or have booked to live for the 19/20 academic year at Central Quay accommodation.

The referred student must:

  • Not be a current or previous tenant at Central Quay
  • Not have previously submitted their details to Central Quay to indicate their interest
  • Not have been referred by another party

To validate the claim the referred student must:

  • Have paid their rent in full or the first instalment after move in
  • Have complied with the booking, the terms of the booking and tenancy agreement
  • Be eligible to live at Central Quay

The student making the referral will receive a £50 Amazon voucher upon validation of the claim.

Please note:

  • There is no limit to how many refer a friend Amazon vouchers that one person can receive.
  • In the event that the referred student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then the referrer’s entitlement to claim the Amazon Voucher will cease.

5. Free £100 Laundry Card for NHS Students Promotion:  

NHS students receive a £100 Laundry Card to help pay towards the cost of washing their uniforms for 2019/20 bookings.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This offer is only applicable for NHS students.
  • The student will need to provide evidence from the educational establishment to Central Quay to prove that they are an NHS student.
  • Evidence can be a written letter from the establishment or UCAS confirmation of the course. Evidence must be emailed to centralquay@host-students.com before the move in date.
  • Only students who sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at Central Quay for the 2019/20 academic year are eligible for the £100 Laundry Card.
  • This offer is limited to the first 30 NHS students booking a room only.
  • Providing you have paid the advanced rent payment and evidence has been received by the Hall Manager at Central Quay, the tenant will receive the Laundry Card within 7 days of moving into Central Quay for the start of the 2019/20 academic year.
  • The Laundry Card will be paid by Victoria Hall Management Ltd directly to the Student regardless of who has paid the Student’s residence fees.
  • The Laundry Card that the student will receive will be to the value of £100.00. This is non-exchangeable for cash.
  • In the event that any tenant cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
  • The Laundry Card will only be given to the Student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the Student finds another student to replace them in accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the advanced rent payment is received, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the Laundry Card.
  • Any lost, stolen or damaged Laundry Cards will not be replaced by Central Quay.

6. Free Car Parking Promotion:  

Students booking a room at Central Quay for 2019/20 will receive free on-site car parking.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This offer is only available to students booking a room at Central Quay for the 2019/20 academic year.
  • The car park will only be available for the tenant to use during the duration of their tenancy (44 or 51 weeks) and not before or after this period.
  • The car park is to be used only by the tenant who resides at Central Quay.
  • Tenants who are eligible and wish to take advantage of the free car parking must provide Central Quay with details of their vehicle including the vehicle registration number.
  • Tenants who wish to use the car park will be issued with a fob to gain access to the car park.
  • The car park fob must be returned to the reception staff at Central Quay at the end of the tenancy.
  • Tenants who do not return the fob at the end of the tenancy will be charged for a replacement fob.
  • It is the responsibility of the tenant to look after the car park fob during their tenancy. If any fobs are lost or damaged, the tenant will be responsible for the cost of any replacement fobs.
  • Limited availability for car parking spaces.

7. Free TV for your Group Promotion (offer ended):  

Receive a free 40” TV for your flat when you make a group booking with 3 or more of your friends at Central Quay for 2019/20.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Students who book a room in the same flat as part of a group will receive a free 40” TV for the flat.
  • The minimum number of students in the ‘group’ who must make a booking to qualify for this offer is four.
  • This offer is only valid for students booking a Classic En-suite or Premium Range 1 En-suite room for the 2019/20 academic year.
  • In the event that any tenant in the group cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then the group’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
  • The free TV will only be given to students who book a room directly with Central Quay, and not to those who book through 3rd
  • Within 7 days of arrival at Central Quay, Sheffield, and providing all tenants in the group have either paid in full or are up to date with instalments or monthly payments, the group will receive the free TV for their flat.
  • The TV will be brand-new and will come with standard manufacturer’s warranty and guarantee.
  • It is the responsibility of the tenants in the group to look after the TV and Central Quay is not responsible for any damages or faults with the TV.
  • The tenants will be responsible for acquiring and paying the TV license. Central Quay does not provide a TV license for the TV.
  • At the end of the tenancy, the group will own the TV. It is down to the tenants in the group to decide who will take ownership of the TV upon moving out at the end of the tenancy.
  • There are only a limited number of TVs available. When the limited has been reached, students booking as a group will not receive a free TV.

8. Rebook & Refer Promotion (offer ended):  

Rebook a room at Central Quay for 2019/20, then refer a friend to book a room too, and you’ll receive 2 weeks off your rent payment for next year.

The student making the referral must:

  • Provide the name and contact detail(s) of the student they are referring to the Hall Manager at Central Quay before the referred student makes contact with Central Quay
  • Be a current resident living at Central Quay and have rebooked a room for the 19/20 academic year at Central Quay accommodation.

The referred student must:

  • Not be a current or previous tenant at Central Quay.
  • Not have previously submitted their details to Central Quay to indicate their interest.
  • Not have been referred by another party.

To validate the claim, both the student making the referral and the referred student must:

  • Have paid their rent in full or the first instalment after move in.
  • Have complied with the booking, the terms of the booking and tenancy agreement.
  • Be eligible to live at Central Quay.

The student making the referral will receive 2 weeks off their rent payment for 2019/20 upon validation of the claim.

Please note:

  • Students wishing to make a referral are limited to only one per person.
  • This offer is only available until 31st March 2019.
  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other  Refer a Friend or Group Booking offer.
  • The reduction of 2 weeks off the rent, will be deducted from the final rent payment.
  • Students who take advantage of this offer, will also be entered into the ‘Early Booker Draw’. If the student taking advantage of this offer also win the Early Booker Draw, they will only have the highest number of weeks rent reduction applied. They will not have reductions from both offers applied together.

9. Early Booker Draw Promotion (offer ended):  

Book a room for 2019/20 before end of March 2019 and you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win up to two months free rent off the total cost, or the equivalent sum in vouchers of your choice.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Only students who book a room at Central Quay for the 2019/20 academic year and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract are eligible to be entered into the Prize Draw.
  • Only students who book a room before 11:59pm on 31st March 2019 will be entered into the Prize Draw. Bookings made after this time and date will not be entered.
  • Those entered into the Prize Draw have the chance to win one of three prizes: 1. First Prize wins two months free rent (or the equivalent in vouchers) up to £1,000.00; 2. Second Prize wins one months free rent (or the equivalent in vouchers) up to £500.00; Third Prize wins two weeks free rent (or the equivalent in vouchers) up to £250.00.
  • The Prize Draw will be held on Monday 1st April or (if Host needs to delay this Draw for any reason) at a later date.
  • Winners will be notified by 5th April or (if Host needs to delay this announcement for any reason) at a later date.
  • Winners will be contacted via the contact details submitted as part of the application process when making the room booking at Central Quay.
  • Winners can choose to have the money deducted from their rent OR have the equivalent value of rent given to them in the form of vouchers for an outlet of their choice.
  • If a student opts for vouchers, the vouchers will be paid by Victoria Hall Management Ltd directly to the student regardless of who has paid the student’s residence fees.
  • The value of the free rent or the vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash alternatives.
  • Vouchers will only be issued to the student after the first rent instalment has been paid in full.
  • Where vouchers have been chosen, failure to pay the first rent instalment in full, will mean the offer is reverted to have the equivalent amount of money deducted from the rent.
  • The Prize Draw is only available to students who book a room directly with Central Quay, and not to those who book through 3rd parties 
  • In the event that any tenant cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
