Terms & Conditions – The Rise

• This offer is open to prospective students applying for higher education for the 2024/25 academic year.
• If an applicant does not get a place on the course, they applied for they need to provide evidence from the educational establishment within 48 hours of their results being published.
• Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the establishment or UCAS confirmation of rejection.
• Evidence must be emailed to The Rise via therise@host-students.com.
• Documents must be received by the site team within 48hrs from the date your results are published or by 1st September 2024 (which ever date is the sooner).
• On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided Host are satisfied, we will cancel your agreement and refund your rent advance in full.
• Any applicants who do not provide evidence by the timings outlined above will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.
• These terms and conditions are correct as of 12/12/23 but Host reserves the right to change them or remove this offer at any time without prior notice.

• This offer is open to prospective first year international students applying for higher education in the UK for the 2024/25 academic year.
• If an applicant does not get their Visa approved to be able to study in the UK, they need to provide evidence that their Visa application has been rejected to your chosen Host accommodation within 48 hours of rejection; this must be no later than 7th September 2024.
• Written evidence in English must be emailed to The Rise via therise@host-students.com.
• On production of sufficient evidence of the Visa rejection, within 48 hours of receiving it, the applicants booking will be cancelled in full, with a full refund of the initial rent payment.
• Any applicants who do not provide sufficient evidence by the dates outlined above, will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.

Terms and Conditions:

• Students who live at The Rise and book a room for the 2024/25 academic year between the 8th and 29th August 2024 will be eligible to receive £650 cashback.
• Only students who sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract for the 2024/25 academic year in The Rise are eligible for the cashback.
• Within November 2024, eligible students who have either paid in full or paid the required 2nd instalment payment will receive the cashback. This will be paid by Host Student Housing Management (UK) Ltd directly to the student regardless of who has paid the student’s residence fees.
• When your booking is complete you must also email the property email address – therise@host-students.com – with your T Number using the subject line: “Clearing Cashback” – If the T Number is not provided to the property email address the offer cannot be reclaimed.
• In the event that any student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
• The cashback will only be given to the student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to replace them and take over their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the first instalment payment date, neither the replaced student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the cashback discount.
• Cashback is not applicable in conjunction with any other offer unless explicitly stated.
• If a student is referred by an external agent, this offer is not applicable.
• If you already have a booking with us for 2024/25 and cancel your booking and then rebook to take advantage of this offer, the offer of £650 cashback will not be applicable.
• Cashback is issued on a per property basis and is not transferable across properties within the Host portfolio.

Terms and Conditions:

The student making the referral must:

• Provide the name and contact detail(s) of the student they are referring to the property inbox at therise@host-students.com before the referred student makes contact with The rise.
• Check in as a resident of The Rise accommodation for the 2024/25 academic year and completed all aspects of the booking application process and paid the advanced rent payment and first instalment.
• Provide their T Number to the referred student this is to link you to their booking.

The referred student must:

• Not have previously been a resident or already booked a room at The Rise.
• Not have previously submitted their details to The Rise to indicate their interest.
• Not have been referred by another party.

To validate the claim the referred student must:

• When the referred student has completed their booking they must email the property email address – therise@host-students.com – with your T Number and the T Number of the student who has referred you using the subject line: “Claim Refer a Friend” – If the T Numbers  are not provided to the property email address the offer cannot be reclaimed.
• Have paid their rent in full or the first and second instalment after moving in
• Have complied with the booking, the terms of the booking and tenancy agreement.
• Be eligible to live at The Rise.

Please note:

• There is a maximum limit of 2 referrals per resident.
• If the student making the referral, or the referred student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51 week term, then the referrer’s entitlement to claim the promotion will cease.
• Vouchers will be given to the students within November 2024, eligible students who have either paid in full or paid the required 2nd installment payment will receive the voucher, and their claim has been validated.
• These terms and conditions are correct as of 06/06/2024 but Host The Rise, Nottingham reserves the right to change them at any time without prior notice.
• If anyone is found to be abusing the terms of this promotion, then Host The Rise, Nottingham, reserves the right to remove this promotion from all parties deemed to be involved.

• Students who rebook to live at The Rise before the 31st January 2023 will be eligible for the price freeze promotion.
• Only rebooking tenants of The Rise who sign up to a legally-binding 51-week contract for the 2023/24 academic year and pay the £150 initial rent payment are eligible for the promotion.
• This offer will only be given to rebooking students who book a room directly with Host, and not to those who book through 3rd parties.
• Bookings must be completed through the Host Portal.
• In the event that the student cancels their booking for 2023/24 or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the new 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to receive the price freeze rates shall cease.
