Our Cardiff student halls – Shand House are perfectly located and right in the thick of student and city life. Within 10 minute’s you can find yourself wandering around the modern waterfront, exploring the ancient castle, or window shopping around Cardiff’s modern destination shopping malls and quirky Victorian arcades that draw visitors from all over.

When it’s time to switch off from uni the weekends really bring the city to life; revelers and students alike come to explore Cardiff’s vibrant and diverse cultural scene. If that’s not for you head to the green spaces of Bute Park or jump on the train from Queen Street station (5 minute walk) and the surrounding valleys and beaches are just waiting to be discovered.
