Host Gosford Gate is super safe. There’s a 24/7 on-site team with CCTV coverage, secure key card access, and lifts to all floors – so you’re covered day and night.

Nope – we don’t take a deposit or booking fee. You’ll just pay a small advance rent payment when booking. This isn’t an extra payment – it goes towards your first rent instalment (if you’re paying in full) or your second rent instalment (if you are paying by instalment plan). Simple, stress-free, done. 

At Gosford Gate, you’ll find plenty of spaces to chill, study, and hang out with friends. There’s a communal lounge, games area, and study room, plus a fitness suite for keeping active. Laundry and secure bike storage make life easy, and the on-site team with 24/7 CCTV coverage keeps things safe. There’s also a social calendar of events to help you meet people and get involved.

Gosford Gate is perfectly placed for getting to uni. Coventry University is just a 5-minute walk away – and if you’re based at the Business School, it’s right across the road.

Heading to the University of Warwick? You can cycle there in about 20 minutes, or hop on the 12X Platinum bus from Starley Gardens and be on campus in around 25 minutes.

There’s secure bicycle storage on-site for cyclists. While there’s no on-site car parking, there are public car parks and street parking options nearby for students who occasionally drive home or need to keep a car in Coventry. Most residents find they don’t need a car day-to-day, since the city centre and Coventry University are just a short walk away.

Yes – Gosford Gate includes wheelchair-accessible rooms and has lifts to all floors, making it easier to get around the building. The property also features secure key card access and wide communal areas for added convenience and safety.

Yes – Gosford Gate is registered under the Building Safety Act (BSA). This means it meets all government requirements for higher-rise residential buildings and we manage it in line with Host’s building safety processes. You can find out more about how we handle this here.
