We’ve got staff on-site 24/7. You’ll find our friendly property team at Reception 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours and on the weekends there will be Security on hand to help.

Yep – all our rooms come with free Wi-Fi and wired internet (average speeds of up to 380Mb for Wi-Fi and 500Mb wired). You can connect an unlimited number of devices so streaming, gaming, or Zooming for lectures is totally covered.

At Southampton Crossings, safety comes first. We have a 24/7 on-site team, CCTV coverage throughout the building, secure key card access, and lifts to all floors to help you feel secure while you focus on uni life.

Nope – we don’t take a deposit or booking fee. You’ll just pay a small advance rent payment when booking. This isn’t an extra payment – it goes towards your first rent instalment (if you’re paying in full) or your second rent instalment (if you are paying by instalment plan). Simple, stress-free, done.

You can choose from Classic, Deluxe, and Premium en-suite rooms or studios, all with your own private bathroom and kitchen space.

Prices:

• Classic En-suite: £200–£215 per week
• Deluxe En-suite: £215–£290 per week
• Premium En-suite: £225–£300 per week

So whether you want something budget-friendly or a bit more luxe, there’s a room to match your vibe.

At Southampton Crossings, you’ve got everything you need to study, relax, and socialise. Plus, our flats come with shared kitchens and social spaces so you can hang out with flatmates and make the most of student life.

Southampton Solent University is just a 5-minute walk from our front door, so you can roll out of bed and be in class in no time. The University of Southampton is a 15-minute cycle away, or about 20 minutes by the U2 UNIBUS right outside the building.

Absolutely! At Southampton Crossings, we’ve got a packed social calendar to keep you connected and entertained. From karaoke nights to yoga classes, welcome parties to Halloween balls, there’s always something happening to help you meet new people and make the most of student life.

Southampton Crossings is designed with accessibility in mind. The property features wheelchair-accessible rooms and lifts to all floors, ensuring ease of movement throughout the building. Additionally, secure key card access and CCTV coverage enhance both security and accessibility for all residents. If you have any other accessibility needs, speak to the property team who are happy to support you. 

Yes – Southampton Crossings is registered under the Building Safety Act (BSA). This means it meets all government requirements for higher-rise residential buildings and we manage it in line with Host’s building safety processes. You can find out more about how we handle this here.

It means extra safety checks, records and reporting happen behind the scenes to make sure everything’s properly managed. We also have a Resident Engagement Strategy in place, so you’ll always have access to clear, honest information about building safety.
