Terms & Conditions – The Village at The Viaduct

How do I qualify and make a claim?

The student making the referral must:

• • Provide the name and contact details of the student they are referring to the property inbox at thevillage@host-students.com before the referred student makes contact with The Village at The Viaduct.
  • Check in as a resident of The Village at The Viaduct accommodation for the 2025/26 academic year and completed all aspects of the booking application process and paid the advanced rent payment and all instalments up until your final instalment due date.

The referred student must:

• • Not have previously booked a room at The Village at The Viaduct for 2025/26, even if it was booked and then later cancelled.
  • Not have previously submitted their details to The Village at The Viaduct to indicate their interest.
  • Not have been referred by another party.

To validate the claim, both the student making the referral and the referred student must:

• • Have paid their rent in full or have no rent/other arrears up until your final instalment due date.
  • Have complied with the booking, the terms of the booking and tenancy agreement.
  • Be eligible to live at The Village at The Viaduct.

Please note:

• • There is a maximum of 10 bookings eligible under this offer
  • There is a limit of 4 referrals per resident.
  • If the student making the referral, or the referred student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then the referrers entitlement to claim the promotion will cease.
  • The cashback is not applicable in conjunction with any other offer unless explicitly stated.
  • These terms and conditions are correct as of 31^st March 2025 but The Village at The Viaduct reserves the right to change them at any time without prior notice.
  • If anyone is found to be abusing the terms of this promotion, then The Village at The Viaduct reserves the right to remove this promotion from all parties deemed to be involved.

Additional Terms and Conditions:

• Any student who has booked for 2025/26 and refers a friend (up to 4 referrals per student) who books a room will be eligible to receive £100 cashback towards their rent. The referred student will also receive £50 cashback towards their rent.
• Eligible students who are not in rent/other arrears by the time their final rent instalment is due, will receive the cashback.
• For students who have paid in full, the cashback will be completed by Host Student Housing Management (UK) Ltd directly to the student regardless of who has paid the student’s residence fees.
• The cashback will be placed on the student’s Host account and refunded from their final instalment date. For students who have paid in full, this will be placed on the student’s Host account and refunded.
• In the event that any student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
• For students who have paid in full, the voucher will be completed by Host Student Housing Management (UK) Ltd directly to the student regardless of who has paid the student’s residence fees.
• The cashback will only be given to the student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to replace them and take over their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the first instalment payment date, neither the replaced student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the cashback.
• The cashback is issued on a per property basis and is not transferable across properties advertised on the Host website.

• Each student who books a room in the same flat as part of a group will receive a £50.00 supermarket voucher to fill their fridge.
• The minimum number of students in the ‘group’ who must make a booking to qualify for this offer is four.
• This offer is only valid for students booking a room The Village at the Viaduct for the 2025/26 academic year.
• One member of the group must provide the names and T-Numbers of all members of the group to the property inbox at thevillage@host-students.com using the subject line: “Claim fill your fridge” within 7 days of all members making a booking.
• In the event that any tenant in the group cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then the group’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
• This offer will only be given to students who book a room directly with Host and not to those who book through 3^rd parties.
• Within 7 days of arrival at The Village at The Viaduct and providing all tenants in the group have either paid in full or are up to date with installments payments, the group will receive their voucher.
• The vouchers will only be given to the students who make the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that a student finds another student to replace them in the accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the first instalment payment date, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the gift voucher.
• This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other group booking offer.
• The supermarket gift card is not exchangeable for cash.

• This offer is open to prospective students applying for higher education for the 2024/25 academic year.
• If an applicant does not get a place on the course, they applied for they need to provide evidence from the educational establishment within 48 hours of their results being published.
• Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the establishment or UCAS confirmation of rejection.
• Evidence must be emailed to The Village at The Viaduct via thevillage@host-students.com.
• Documents must be received by the site team within 48hrs from the date your results are published or by 1st September 2024 (which ever date is the sooner).
• On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided Host are satisfied, we will cancel your agreement and refund your rent advance in full.
• Any applicants who do not provide evidence by the timings outlined above will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.
• These terms and conditions are correct as of 03/05/24 but Host reserves the right to change them or remove this offer at any time without prior notice.

• This offer is open to prospective first year international students applying for higher education in the UK for the 2024/25 academic year.
• If an applicant does not get their Visa approved to be able to study in the UK, they need to provide evidence that their Visa application has been rejected to your chosen Host accommodation within 48 hours of rejection; this must be no later than 7th September 2024.
• Written evidence in English must be emailed to The Village at The Viaduct via thevillage@host-students.com.
• On production of sufficient evidence of the Visa rejection, within 48 hours of receiving it, the applicants booking will be cancelled in full, with a full refund of the initial rent payment.
• Any applicants who do not provide sufficient evidence by the dates outlined above, will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.
