My first year as a student in Cardiff has flown by. It’s already been 8 months since I moved into Shand House – which has been an absolute dream.
I can’t believe it’s already been six months since I left my little North Walian town and moved to Cardiff to study. The time has honestly flown by and for now, this is most definitely home. Although my Fresher’s week feels like a lifetime ago, I can vividly remember the day that I arrived in Cardiff.
Wales; famous for its rugged coastline, mountainous National Parks and not forgetting the Celtic Welsh language. It’s a pretty cool country to live in or to visit – not only does it have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, the Welsh people are known as one of the friendliest.
Cardiff; the capital of Wales and a city with an endless list of things to do. And if you’ve chosen Cardiff as your home while you study, you’ll easily come across bars, restaurants and shops to fill your days. But if you’re not a local, it’s easy to miss some of the gems available in this vibrant city.
