At Host, we’re doing our bit where we can to conserve energy and reduce waste; and we’re encouraging our students and staff to do the same. And this month, we’re launching across all of our accommodations, the #HostEnvironmentalPledge campaign 2021.
Whether it’s at home, at university or in the workplace, we can probably all raise our hands and say we’ve felt ‘stressed’ at some point in our lives. So, when the going gets tough, it’s important to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have some ‘me’ time.
Our locations throughout the UK have held competitions, parties and gave you some amazing trick or treats. Here’s a taste of what some of our sites have been up to this Hostoween!

Friday 4th October is No disposable cup day. The day has two aims, 1. For the UK to stop using disposable cups for one day on 4th October and ultimately, we as a nation stop using disposable cups completely.
When it comes to what we eat, students are changing the traditional approach of a UK balanced diet.
