One of the best things about being a student is the discounts that come along with it. From food and drink, to clothes and gadgets, as a student you can make big savings on many top products and brands all year round.

But if there’s one time of the year to really make the most out of your student discount, it’s now. The start of a new academic year and a new intake of freshers, means exclusive student-only shopping events and discounts are taking place at some of the UK’s top shopping venues. So, to help you organise your diary and ensure you don’t miss out on a fun-packed evening of freebies, competitions, up to 50% off discounts, music, games and much more, we’ve put together a list of some of the best student shopping nights.

1. Trinity Leeds

Head to Leeds Trinity shopping centre on Tuesday 26th September between 6.30pm and 10pm and pick yourself up a bargain or two. With over 120 shops and 40 restaurants, coffee shops and bars – they’ll be plenty of discounts and giveaways on offer. Find out more and pre-register for the event here.

2. Liverpool One

Tipped to be the district’s biggest student event yet, don’t miss your chance to bag a bargain on Wednesday 27th September at Liverpool One. And with offers, freebies, prizes, fun and games taking place all day between 9.30am – 8pm, you’ll have plenty of time to shop! Find out more here.

3. Princesshay

If you’re a student in Exeter this Autumn, then Princesshay is the place to be. On Tuesday 3rd October, the ‘Strictly Students’ event is back for one night only. From 6.30pm until 9.30pm they’ll be live music and entertainment and over 35 retailers and restaurants will be offering discounts, freebies and more! Pre-register for the event here.

4. Cabot Circus

Being a student in Bristol just got even better. On Tuesday 3rd October, the city’s biggest shopping centre, Cabot Circus, is keeping its doors open late for their Student Sessions event. 5. Intu Victoria Centre

Snap up some exclusive offers and discounts on all the top fashion, beauty and home brands at Nottingham’s exclusive Student Night. Returning to the Intu Victoria Centre on 4th October from 6pm, this year’s event is bigger and better than ever. You can even win some amazing prizes just by pre-registering for the event. 7. St David’s

The biggest student shopping event in the UK is returning to St David’s shopping centre in the welsh capital, Cardiff. On Tuesday 10th October get ready to make big savings and fill your bags with everything from stationary to snacks.
