Starting university can be a daunting prospect for any student, but even more so for those students traveling from overseas; especially for the first time.
Host offers welcoming, secure and affordable accommodation designed to provide all the necessary touches to help our residents feel instantly at home and settle in quickly.
Firstly, you’ll find fully equipped kitchens containing a fridge, freezer, oven and hob. In addition, some halls provide a kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. As an optional extra, bedding can also be arranged with your hall in advance of your arrival*.
Our award winning accommodation is located in areas close to universities and college campuses. This allows you to fully experience all the benefits of studying and living in your chosen city; and socialise with your new friends. Telephones in flats and internet in all bedrooms allow you to keep in touch with friends and family back home.
Each Host accommodation has a dedicated on-site management office. Here you’ll find friendly staff to answer day-to-day queries and they’ll help you settle into life in your new city.
The first class service offered to our overseas students has been recognised by the award of a Quality Mark for International Accommodation; an award given only to providers and universities nationwide who have achieved a rating of more than 90% satisfaction from their international residents.
*not available in all sites, please check with your chosen Hall’s on-site management team.

At Host we are doing everything we can to ensure your safety and provide maximum flexibility as the situation continues to evolve.
That’s why we have introduced a set of Booking Commitments to give international students travelling to the UK to study increased flexibility with your booking should you need it.
We have also implemented a series of steps to ensure that all students who live with us are kept safe and the risk of Coronavirus is minimised. You can learn more about everything we’re doing in response to the pandemic by clicking the button below.
