If a student rebooks a room at Northernhay House for 2025/26, and they refer a friend to book a room too, they will receive £100 cashback towards their rent.

How do I qualify and make a claim?

The student making the referral must:

Provide the name and contact details of the student they are referring to the property inbox at northernhay@host-students.com before the referred student makes contact with Northernhay House.
Check in as a resident of Northernhay House accommodation for the 2025/26 academic year and completed all aspects of the booking application process and paid the advanced rent payment and all instalments up until 1^st November 2025.

The referred student must:

Not have previously booked a room at The Northfield, Northernhay House or Trust House for 2025/26, even if it was booked and then later cancelled.
Not have previously submitted their details to any of the above named properties to indicate their interest.
Not have been referred by another party.

To validate the claim, both the student making the referral and the referred student must:

Have paid their rent in full or have no rent/other arrears up until 1^st November 2025.
Have complied with the booking, the terms of the booking and tenancy agreement.
Be eligible to live at Northernhay House.

Please note:

There is a maximum limit of 4 referrals per resident.
