How do I qualify and make a claim?

The student making the referral must:

Provide the name and contact details of the student they are referring to the property inbox at northfield@host-students.com before the referred student makes contact with The Northfield.
Check in as a resident of The Northfield accommodation for the 2025/26 academic year and completed all aspects of the booking application process and paid the advanced rent payment and all instalments up until 1^st November 2025.

The referred student must:

Not have previously booked a room at The Northfield, Northernhay House or Trust House for 2025/26, even if it was booked and then later cancelled.
Not have previously submitted their details to any of the above named properties to indicate their interest.
Not have been referred by another party.

To validate the claim, both the student making the referral and the referred student must:

Have paid their rent in full or have no rent/other arrears up until 1^st November 2025.
Have complied with the booking, the terms of the booking and tenancy agreement.
Be eligible to live at The Northfield.

Please note:

There is a maximum limit of 4 referrals per resident.
