Located on Culwell Street, Heantun Point has available over 650 Classic and Premium En-suite rooms. Just 10 minutes’ walk from the University of Wolverhampton and the city centre, Heantun Point is perfectly located for day-to-day student life.
Some of the on-site facilities include a gym and an outdoor basketball court. A spacious study area with comfy cubicles to enjoy as you work and a cinema room with a large TV and seating for you on movie night chill outs. As standard with Host all your bills are included in your rent. At Heantun Point you will find 24/7 security and CCTV cameras, plus an on-site maintenance team who will be on hand to fix any issues that may crop up.
Each room comes with a ¾ double bed with plenty of underbed, bedside and wardrobe storage. All rooms come with Freeview TV and a study area with a large desk and chair. Access to a spacious shared kitchen with appliances and extras is also available. And with a refurbishment planned to start this summer; Heantun Point will receive a fresh new look ready for September 2021 (we’ll share further details soon).
Heantun Point is on the edge of a bubble of activity. All within walking distance, you can be grabbing a coffee at Costa (or whatever is your local preference) and heading around the various independent retail and high street stores in an instant.
The local train station is just up the road, with frequent and fast routes to Birmingham, Liverpool, and London for day trips or weekend visits. The city is served by several bus services, serving as a direct link around the city and to neighbouring locations. The nearest major airport is Birmingham Airport, roughly 25 miles away.
There are a large variety of restaurants to try from Steak houses to Indian and Thai to either sit in and share with friends or to take away. Check out the local Lych Gate Tavern if you fancy a traditional pub experience.
With a population of over 250,000, this former market town has had quite the transformation, from the wool industry to engineering since its founding a long time ago in 985.
Located in the heart of the West Midlands, Wolverhampton is a city with a strong industrial backbone; but also boasts a modern and vibrant aura that is welcoming to everyone. You won’t have to go far to find lush outdoor spaces with an array of gardens, parks and nature reserves to explore.
Football fan? Molineux Stadium (the site of the first ever league game played in English history and home of the Wolves) is a few minutes’ walk away. The Light House Media Centre with its high glass ceiling provides a unique culture hub for people of all ages and social backgrounds.
The University of Wolverhampton has over 20,000 students and runs over 700 courses. With two main campuses: City Campus Wulfruna and City Campus Molineux.
