Most first year university students choose to live in accommodation provided by the uni itself. This is offered to most university students going into their first year. Providing that they are applied for within the given deadlines.
If you like the idea of living in private student accommodation, you’ll be guaranteed an environment that has been built with the best student experience in mind. Luxury and modern living in locations close to your chosen university.
Your bills are also taken care of for you as they are included in your rent. Which means you don’t have to worry about sorting any of that out – which can be a big hassle.
Living with the friends you’ve made at university can be really special. Many of our properties have cluster flats available. Meaning you and your friends can all live together in the same flat.
Flat sizes vary across properties but can accommodate anything from two to thirteen people in the same flat. You’ll each have your own private bedroom, bathroom and study space. But you’ll share the kitchen and living area. Rooms in the flats are modern and spacious, and you can kit them out the way that you want.
You can use the social spaces available with Host to chat and relax with your friends. There are also on-site fitness suites at some of our locations like King’s Cross in London. And the Printworks in Exeter where you can work up a sweat or perfect your yoga poses.
Many of our student homes have outdoor gardens to enjoy. Like The Hive which has a landscaped roof terrace with beautiful views of the London skyline. And Southampton Crossings with its rooftop garden, the best spot to relax morning till evening.
