Host signs up to BulliesOut ‘SPEAK OUT’ Campaign
BulliesOut – Bullying is a huge societal issue that occurs well beyond school years. It causes unimaginable distress to a person, including anxiety, stress and depression. Bullying affects social and academic ability and has a major impact on mental health. With mental health becoming a greater issue in universities, Host as a business and each of our locations has committed to the BulliesOut ‘SPEAK OUT’ campaign.
‘SPEAK OUT’ is a campaign which has been developed to motivate a call to action against bullying through public awareness.
Created from an idea inspired by BulliesOut team of Youth Ambassadors. SPEAK OUT aims to raise awareness of bullying and how it affects a person by engaging with businesses. By joining the ‘SPEAK OUT’ Campaign Host commits to working with BulliesOut to promote an anti-bullying and respectful ethos. As an empowering way to Inspire Change and Make a Difference.
- We commit to working together to create a safe and healthy environment
- Everyone is expected to respect the right of each individual
- Everyone will be treated equally. And respected for their individuality and diversity
- Bullying in any form is unacceptable and will not be tolerated
- Our policies and procedures will underpin the principles of this Campaign and will be upheld by all

Getting serious about the environment we live in.
To become more ‘environmentally friendly’, Host is launching the #HostEnvironmentalPledge campaign to encourage responsible behaviour and drive sustainability across our sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
It’s a simple campaign! If we can reduce our overall utilities (electric, water and gas) consumption by 1% then we will donate £10,000, 2% reduction means £20,000, 3% is £30,000 and so on, to 3 charities; BulliesOut, Planet Patrol and World Land Trust.Show me all news
