How do you find student accommodation for university?
As providers of student accommodation, we live and breathe accommodation; so we wouldn’t think twice about how to go about finding somewhere to live at university.
However, we know that for students preparing to embark on their university journey, finding accommodation can be another minefield to conquer. There are so many questions to answer and things to consider; when do you start looking for accommodation? How do you go about finding accommodation? What type of room do you need? How long do you need it for?
So, to help you on your accommodation journey, we thought it would be useful to share the experiences of other students with you. Through a series of video interviews with students who have been where you are now, hear first-hand how they came to find their perfect student room.

It’s a simple campaign! For every percent we reduce our overall utilities (electric, water and gas) consumption by we donate to one of our nominated charities.
I hope you're feeling hungry, because we have listed some of the tastiest spots in Southampton to eat and shop during your stay here. International students take note, if you are missing homecooked food, you'll find a few places you'll have to try out this weekend.
Are you thinking of applying to university and wondering if it is too late for September 2024 intake? Don't worry, still have time to submit your application. If you miss the 31 January 2024 deadline for most other courses, you may still be able to apply after the deadline has passed. Universities and colleges often consider applications received after the 31 January deadline if there are available, but you do risk missing out on your top university/course choice if it’s popular.
