Host’s new student accommodation, The Croft, to open in Derby

Who doesn’t like the feeling of something new? The anticipation of waiting for your latest online order to arrive, excitedly unwrapping presents on your birthday and the pride of ripping off the tags and showcasing your new clothes; it just makes us feel great!

So, how would you like to experience these great feelings on an even larger scale for the coming year?

Well, if you’re studying in Derby for the 2019/20 academic year, we’ve got some good news…

Our brand-new student accommodation, The Croft, opens in the city centre this September; and you can be one of the first to experience living with Host in Derby.

What does Host The Croft have to offer?

The Croft offers all-inclusive living in a choice of three different room types: Premium En-suites, Large Premium En-suites and XL Premium En-suites. There is a total of 326 rooms, located across eight floors, arranged in 4-9 bed flats; perfect for sharing with friends and meeting new ones.

Bedrooms aside, The Croft provides you with first-class common areas and spaces to unwind, relax and socialise in after a busy day at uni. Featuring a state-of-the-art gym packed with free weights, resistance machines and cardio machines.

What about its location?

The University of Derby’s four Derby campuses are all just a short walk away from Host The Croft; meaning getting to lectures will take a matter of minutes.

The city centre itself is right on your doorstep too. From shops and food outlets, to bars and entertainment venues, you’ll find lots to see and do within walking distance of the accommodation.
