There’s no need to be. Our booking commitments are here to provide that extra bit of help for the 2021/22 academic year. Please note, not all of our booking commitments will apply to all of our locations, to learn more about a specific Host home click here.
If you know which university you want to attend. And if you see a room you’d like to call home this September, you can secure it for just £100. You can learn more by visiting your chosen room type’s pricing page for more information.
If you book your room with us today, and when you get your A-level results, you don’t get the grades you need to attend your chosen university. And therefore no longer require the accommodation you have booked, you can cancel your room for free and your initial payment will be refunded to you.
If you’re an international student…
In the process of acquiring a visa to study in the UK? Our No Visa. No Pay booking commitment gives you a little extra peace of mind. If you aren’t successful in gaining the visa by the 7th September. And no longer require your room, you won’t be charged a penny. This commitment is only open to prospective first year international students. Proof of rejection is required within 48 hours of being notified.
If you choose to pay by instalments when you book with Host, the 2nd payment may be split into two; 50% to be paid on the original due date of the 2nd payment and the remaining 50% to be paid within 7 days of the tenancy start date.
If you travel to the UK from an amber listed country. And are required to quarantine on arrival, Host will provide free accommodation for the quarantine period of up to 10 days immediately prior to the start of your tenancy, subject to availability. However, this does not include red list countries as students will be required to use a government approved hotel to quarantine for 10 days.
If you’re unable to travel to the UK due to Government travel restrictions. And no longer require your room, you will be able to defer your room until the time you are able to travel or cancel and receive a full refund.
