• This offer is open to prospective students applying for higher education for the 2024/25 academic year.
• If an applicant does not get a place on the course, they applied for they need to provide evidence from the educational establishment within 48 hours of their results being published.
• Evidence can be a written rejection letter from the establishment or UCAS confirmation of rejection.
• Evidence must be emailed to 27 Magdalen Street via colchester@host-students.com.
• Documents must be received by the site team within 48hrs from the date your results are published or by 1st September 2024 (which ever date is the sooner).
• On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided Host are satisfied, we will cancel your agreement and refund your rent advance in full.
• Any applicants who do not provide evidence by the timings outlined above will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.
• These terms and conditions are correct as of 18/12/23 but Host reserves the right to change them or remove this offer at any time without prior notice.

• This offer is open to prospective first year international students applying for higher education in the UK for the 2024/25 academic year.
• If an applicant does not get their Visa approved to be able to study in the UK, they need to provide evidence that their Visa application has been rejected to your chosen Host accommodation within 48 hours of rejection; this must be no later than 7th September 2024.
• Written evidence in English must be emailed to 27 Magdalen Street via colchester@host-students.com.
• On production of sufficient evidence of the Visa rejection, within 48 hours of receiving it, the applicants booking will be cancelled in full, with a full refund of the initial rent payment.
• Any applicants who do not provide sufficient evidence by the dates outlined above, will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.

Terms and Conditions:

• Students who book a room at 27 Magdalen Street for the 2024/25 academic year will be eligible to receive the following:
  • New Bookers (a student who has never been a resident at the property) Cashback is applicable to the following students:
    • £500 Cashback for those who booked after 17^th January 2024.
    • £975 Cashback for Anglia Ruskin University students who booked after 26th February 2024  – You’ll receive the above £500 cashback plus an additional £475.00 towards your travel to campus. (£475 is the equivalent of 1 return train fare from Colchester Town to Chelmsford per week during your stay with us with a young person’s rail card. Based on pricing as at February 2024. This offer will not be changed should rail fares increase).
  • Re-bookers (a student who was a resident at the property during 2023/2024) Cashback is applicable to the following students:
    • £200 Cashback for those who booked between 17^th January and 5th February 2024.
    • £500 Cashback for those who booked after 5th February 2024.
• Only students who sign up to a legally-binding 39, 44 or 51-week contract for the 2024/25 academic year in 27 Magdalen Street are eligible for the Cashback.
• Eligible students who are not in rent/other arrears by the time January 2025, will receive the Cashback.
• When your booking is complete you must also email the property email address – colchester@host-students.com – with your T Number using the subject line: “Claim Cashback” – If the T Number is not provided to the property email address the offer cannot be reclaimed.
• For students who have paid in full, the Cashback will be completed by Host Student Housing Management (UK) Ltd directly to the student regardless of who has paid the student’s residence fees.
• The Cashback will be placed on the student’s Host account and deducted from their April 2025 instalment date. For students who have paid in full, this will be placed on the student’s Host account and refunded.
• In the event that any student cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 39, 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
• The Cashback will only be given to the student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the student finds another student to replace them and take over their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the first instalment payment date, neither the replaced student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the Cashback discount.
• Cashback is not applicable in conjunction with any other offer unless explicitly stated.
• If you already have a booking with us for 2024/25 and cancel your booking and then rebook to take advantage of this offer, the offer of any Cashback will not be applicable.
• Cashback is issued on a per property basis and is not transferable across properties within the Host portfolio.
• These terms and conditions are correct as of 26th February 2024 but Host reserves the right to change them at any time without prior notice.
• Students who book a room after 27^th February 2024 will pay £0 upon booking their room with us. An advance rental payment of £100 is then payable on the 28^th June 2024.

Terms and Conditions:

• Only available to current residents who rebook and sign up to a legally-binding 44 or 51-week contract at 27 Magdalen Street for the 2024/25 academic year before the 6th February 2024 are eligible for the free Laundry Card.
• Providing you have paid the advanced rent payment, the tenant will receive the Laundry Card within 7 days of moving into 27 Magdalen Street for the start of the 2024/25 academic year.
• The Laundry Card will be paid by Host Student Housing Management (UK) Ltd directly to the Student regardless of who has paid the Student’s residence fees.
• The Laundry Card that the student will receive will be credited with £300.
• In the event that any tenant cancels their booking or otherwise terminates the contract prior to the start of the 44 or 51-week term, then such person’s entitlement to participate shall cease.
• The Laundry Card will only be given to the Student who makes the initial booking of the accommodation and is non-transferable. In the event that the Student finds another student to replace them in accommodation and take on their obligations under the Accommodation Agreement, and such transfer takes effect before the advanced rent payment is received, neither the replaced Student nor their replacement shall be eligible to receive the Laundry Card.
• Any lost, stolen or damaged Laundry Cards will not be replaced by 27 Magdalen Street.
• In the case of dual occupancy only one voucher will be given per booking.
• These terms and conditions are correct as at 17^th January 2024 but Host 27 Magdalen Street, Colchester reserves the right to change them at any time without prior notice.
