Oxford Brookes

With a history that can be traced back as far as 1865, Oxford Brookes University is today acknowledged as one of the UK’s leading modern universities. Based on three campuses in and around Oxford, over 14,000 full time students enrolled on a vast range of under and postgraduate courses.

The university is spread across four campuses, with three primary sites based in and around Oxford, all with libraries, 24-hour computer rooms, libraries, playing fields, shops, accommodation, social spaces and study areas. A fourth campus is located in the town of Swindon, about 30 miles from Oxford, home to courses in adult nursing, operating department practice and continuing professional development courses.

It comprises four faculties, including Business, Health and Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Technology, Design and Environment (within which, its School of Architecture is recognised as being one of the largest in Britain).

In 2018, the QS World University Rankings named it the only UK university on its list of ‘Top 50 universities under 50 years old’ in the world

The Mews are a 26 minute walk or a 27 minute bus ride on the dedicated U5 BROOKESbus which links the university to the city centre.

Our awards.
All dedicated to you.

We’re proud to have won some awards. But hopefully they mean something to you too. Because the National Student Housing Survey only recognises accommodation based on real student experiences. So the people voting are the ones who live with us. Which means you can pick your Host student home with confidence.
