What to watch on Netflix this October

Looking for something to watch this October? Luckily Netflix have added the below movies and tv-series ready for those cosy nights in. Squid Game

Of course, this series had to be at the top of our list this month, as it’s the number one rated Netflix series currently in the world. Squid Game is a South Korean drama that focuses on contestants play a series of games in order to win a huge cash prize – but competing may just cost them everything that they have.

You (Season 3 releases 15th October)

You season 3 releases this week, so you may just about have enough time to binge watch the first two seasons. This American psychological thriller follows Joe Goldberg, a man who becomes obsessed with a woman he meets when she enters his bookstore. We won’t say more than that other than it’s worth a watch.

Midnight Mass

Focusing around a small, isolated island, this miniseries is perfect for a Halloween binge. The creator Mike Flanagan is behind the Haunting series. So you’re guaranteed to be in for a spooky treat full of scares.

Halloween (Film series)

A cult classic, with a few sequels (both good and bad depending on who you asked). Netflix have added Halloween l and ll along with Season of the witch and The Return Of Michael Myers. Whether you feel like an early Halloween night of chills or a laugh at some of the scares, this series has a lot to offer.

The newest film in the series Halloween Kills is in cinemas from 15th October.


The Lighthouse

Since isolation has been on theme over the last year.  So, this movie about two lighthouse keepers is certainly to feel a little nostalgic this autumn. Starring Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson.
