Summer adventures with Host

We’re passionate about providing you with a place to call home during term time, but also for your holidays. Did you know that we provide accommodation during the summer months?

With our summer accommodation available across the UK for both short and long stays, why not map out your own summer adventure and explore the best of the UK’s cities with the familiarity of your Host comforts?

Starting in the South, Plymouth student accommodation – in the Ocean City, is one of the UK’s most spectacular coastal cities. Steeped with maritime history and surrounded by crystal blue seas, use The Old Dairy as your base to explore Plymouth, or adventure further afield into Devon and Cornwall. With some of Europe’s top beaches less than an hour away, make sure this ‘must-see’ destination is on your list.

When you’re done soaking up the sun on the south coast, hop on a train. Within two hours, you’ll find yourself at the next stop on our trip, Bristol.

A thriving city known for creativity, an independent culture, and enough eateries to keep you fed for a lifetime. Spend the morning hunting down the street art of the infamous Banksy. Then in the afternoon head to the harbour to check out the abundance of bars and street food on offer.

Then, when it’s time to drop after a busy day, make your way home to King Square Studios where you’ll find a comfortable and stylish place to sit back and relax in. And as you relax, make use of the super-fast Wi-Fi to plan the next leg of your summer adventure!

On to the big smoke, London! In less than two hours on the train from Bristol you’ll arrive in the heart of London. The world’s most famous city has more to offer than you could ever imagine. From site-seeing and picnics in the park, to shopping sprees and show watching in the West End. Whatever your interests, you can find it all in London.

And with a variety of student accommodation in London, Host will be there to make sure you have somewhere familiar to rest at the end of a long day exploring all the capital has to offer. Welcoming, helpful and kind. Our on-site management teams will be able to give you hints and tips to take you off the beaten track and experience London as only a Londoner does.

Where next? I hear you say. Exhausted from your day shopping on Oxford Street and night out in Leicester Square, jump on the train and catch your breath as you make your way to the Midlands.

When you arrive at our student accommodation in Birmingham, you’ll find you’re not far from the action and buzz of the city centre. From stylish shopping and delicious dining at the much-admired Bullring shopping centre, to contemporary arts and a vibrant nightlife. Birmingham is abundant with things to do and perfectly situated to explore further afield in neighbouring Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham.

From Birmingham, travel up to Liverpool. Famous for the home of The Beatles, the Liverpool nightlife is up there with the best of them. While in town, why not check out a football game at Anfield Stadium or take a ferry across the Mersey? When you’re done, crash at our student accommodation in Liverpool at Hope Street Apartments where Gemma and the team will help you plan your next great adventure…
